My name is Maarten van Rijn, married and father of two children. My job is teamleader of the department technique of Sint- Maartenscollege. Operative within education as a teacher in constructions and buildings, in maths and teamleader for 7 years. Formerly in business at nun-profit organisations as agency manager and project-manager. The component internationalisation is important within our school. Not only thematically to work within  the program but also for the contacts to maintain with colleagues and studenst abroad, and get contact with boys and girls from other countries. Moreover de familiarisation with the country is already an invent in itself. Think about travel to Slovenia or Italy. Our 5 students are now very busy with preparing their presantation. "Energy is our Future". An excursion and several meetings for preparation have been round up. Ready for the travel to La Spezia in Italy!

My name is Jacqueline Jacobs and I’m 39 years old. I teach Dutch and English at Sint-Maartencollege Maastricht. My hobbies are reading, cooking and developing new educational material for the subjects I teach. Other interests are going to concerts, I love all kinds of music, theatre and spending time with my family.

My name is Quirien Becker.

I am one of the participating teachers of Sint Maartenscollege in this project.

I teach plumbing and electrics. At our school we offer the students who study in the technical sector always two practical disciplines. Either the combination of metalworking and electrics or plumbing and electrics. Those of you who will visit our school one of the next exchanges will experience this sector personally.

In my spare time I like to ride and restore old motorcycles mainly of British origin. One of my passions is riding my old “AJS” trial motorcycle in special pre-’65 events like the Eurocup trials.
